Description:

Masterworks of Horror is a fast paced PvP Card game that has real time gameplay. Engage in a literary battle of cards and stories from 4 legendary authors of horror. Defend your Masterworks, destroy your opponent’s, and become the true master of horror.

The game is playable on both PC and Mobile platforms across a network. Matchmaking will be available between PC and Mobile.

My Responsibilities:
  • Served as initial designer for all cards within Masterworks of Horror
  • Researched and analyzed classic literary works to extract thematic elements and characters for an upcoming PVP card battler
  • Collaborated with game designers to transform literary concepts into compelling gameplay mechanics and card abilities Collaborate with game designers to transform literary concepts into compelling gameplay mechanics through original keywords that create gameplay synergy
  • Curated appropriate epithets and flavor text from source materials to enhance card narratives while maintaining thematic consistency
  • Developed a comprehensive story outline using a three-act structure to support player engagement
